Me Abdelkrim Kebache is a lawyer and a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2014. He founded Labo Legal and leads MEKA AVOCAT, the firm that operates the platform.
Education
He holds a law degree from the Université de Sherbrooke and a business degree from the Université du Québec à Montréal. That dual training, legal and commercial, shapes how he approaches a mandate: a corporate structure is not merely a compliant arrangement, it is a tool that has to serve a business plan, an eventual exit and, often, a hand-over.
He was called to the Barreau du Québec in 2014. His standing on the roll of the Order can be verified at any time with the Barreau, whose roll is public.

Business and corporate law
Constituting Québec and federal corporations, choice of governing statute, holding structures and management corporations, shareholder agreements and unanimous shareholder agreements, governance and relations between partners, corporate records, compliance with the provincial and federal registers, ultimate beneficiary declarations, dissolution and liquidation.
Buying and selling a business
Acting for buyers and for sellers: letters of intent, due diligence, choosing between a share sale and an asset sale, purchase agreements, representations and warranties, price adjustments, non-competition and non-solicitation clauses, vendor financing, closing, and the transfer of contracts and permits.
Restructuring, reorganization and amalgamation
Share capital reorganizations, estate freezes, holding trusts and management corporations, simplified amalgamations between corporations of the same group, continuance from one governing statute to another, articles of amendment, and tax rollovers carried out together with the client's tax adviser or accountant.
Business succession and acquisition by a successor
Passing a business to family successors or to employees, structuring the takeover, staging the price and the transfer of control, agreements between the transferor and the successor, and alignment with succession support programs. Taking over a business that already exists raises very different questions from starting one: you inherit a history, live contracts and sometimes liabilities.
Business immigration
Acting for foreign investors and entrepreneurs: business immigration programs, creating or acquiring a business in Québec or elsewhere in Canada, putting in place the corporate structure the programs require, business plans and undertakings given to the authorities, and coordination of the corporate and immigration sides, which answer to each other: a poorly built structure can compromise an immigration file, and the reverse is equally true.
Civil law and immigration law
Contracts, obligations and civil liability, as well as immigration files outside the business stream.
An entrepreneur as much as a lawyer
Alongside his practice, Me Kebache is active as an entrepreneur, in distribution and in digital services. That second vantage point, the client's rather than the adviser's, shaped the platform's premise.
Labo Legal grew out of an observation from practice: routine corporate steps are repetitive, their real cost is predictable, and nothing justifies an entrepreneur having to ask for a quote to learn what incorporating costs. Hence the flat published prices, with the government fees set out in detail, and a freely available content library.
